Jarni McGuire

Whadjuk, Ballardong and Yued Noongar Visual and Sculptural Artist

Born and raised in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia, Jarni McGuire is a proud Whadjuk, Ballardong and Yued Noongar visual and sculptural artist whose work celebrates the richness of Noongar culture through colour, form and storytelling. Deeply inspired by her connection to Country and community, Jarni’s practice transforms traditional narratives into contemporary expressions that honour her heritage while engaging new audiences.

A lover of colour and texture, Jarni uses her art to explore identity, belonging and connection. Her work often centres on collaboration with community—particularly Elders—sharing their stories and wisdom through visual storytelling within a modern landscape.

Jarni has worked with a diverse range of clients and organisations including Ronald McDonald House Charities, 7-Eleven, Amazon, Brookfield Properties, Rare Agency, Rottnest Island Authority, Edith Cowan University, Westfield, Charter Hall, InStyle Magazine, and Melbourne Fashion Week, among others. Across every project, she brings a distinctive creative energy that bridges cultural tradition and contemporary design, creating art that connects, uplifts and inspires.
